Early, Mail-In Voting

Any registered voter may request, receive, and vote a mail-in absentee ballot. No special circumstance or reason is needed. Voters must request an absentee ballot by 11/1/2022.

You can request an absentee ballot through the North Carolina Absentee Ballot Portal, or you can complete a form in English or Spanish and return it to your county board of elections office. Absentee ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, 11/8/2022, and received no later than 5 p.m. on 11/14/2022.
