Rebecca Kreitzer is an associate professor of public policy at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Professor Kreitzer is an expert in political representation, state politics, and policy inequality.
She teaches undergraduate and doctoral classes on the politics of policy, policy process, and gender policy.
Each semester she teaches the Politics of Public Policy, where students learn how politics shapes public policy (for better and for worse) by becoming policy advocates on an issue they care about.
Elections are hugely consequential for public policy - so making a website to help people learn about voting is practicing what she preaches!

She teaches undergraduate classes in American politics and law and also serves as the campus pre-law adviser.
She has been interested in voting ever since she first saw Mrs. Banks in her suffragette sash in Mary Poppins at the age of 5.
Ask her about her own "Votes for Women" sash!

Dave Kreitzer is currently pursuing his data science degree at Western Governors University.
He got roped into this project because his sister asked him for help. He also occasionally completes webscrapping and data collection projects to support his sister's research efforts.
Dave isn't a professor, but he cares a lot about elections. He is known for teaching his colleagues at work about gerrymandering and disinformation in the media.
